01 DAY: ARRIVAL DELHI
Welcome at the indira gandhi international airport in Delhi, our representative assist and escort you by a private car and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. After your check in, you will be given all the required documents related to your tour plan; he will explain all your queries and feedback about the entire tour plan. If you are arriving by morning flight, after relaxation you can take a short tour of the sightseeing of the city; otherwise take the rest and overnight at the hotel in delhi.

02 DAY: DELHI
After breakfast sightseeing tour to explore the historic city, firstly visiting old delhi: (sahajahanabad) the majestic red fort, a marvel in red sandstone, jama masjid, the largest and most splendid mosque in india, both built by emperor shah jahan of taj mahal fame, rajghat, memorial of mahatma gandhi, where he was cremated. Later in you opt cycle rickshaw ride past through the bustling and colorful bazaar of chandini chowk. The sightseeing continue to explore the best tourist attractions of new delhi include president house (rashtrapati bhawan), the regal residence of british rulers, a palace built for british viceroys. 03 DAY: DELHI - UDAIPUR (BY AIR)
Early morning, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight for udaipur. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. After refreshments, take a sightseeing tour of udaipur visiting wondrous city palace complex, significant landmark of the town, the palace is a splendid white marble architectural historical place of rajpoot rulers, in the palace vicinity you will see notable places like durbar hall, palace museum, crystal gallery and jagdish temple, followed by sahelion ki bari, a beautiful recreation garden for queens and princes of the rulers. 04 DAY: UDAIPUR - CHITTOURGARH - UDAIPUR (EXCURSION 115 KMS ONE WAY)
After breakfast, take an excursion tochittourgarh, to visit mightiest and largest historical fort of india: chittourgarh, this crowning historical fort stands a jaded reminder of the characteristic and bravery of rajpoot clan in rajasthan, sprawled over 700 acres, area, the fort houses historical monuments: tower of victory, rani padmini palace, man mahal, mira temple and several ruins of temples of shiva. Chittourgarh echoes with the tales of romance and velour unique to the rajput tradition. Chittourgarh, the town known for its massive fort atop hill, crowned on a 6kms long hill, covering an area of 280 hectares with fortifications, temples, towers and palaces. 05 DAY: UDAIPUR - RANAKPUR - JODHPUR (270 KMS: 5-6 HOURS)
After a leisure breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to jodhpur. En route visit at ancient ranakpur jain temples, built in 12 century the group of temples, made of intricately sculpted white marble, built out of marbles more than 100 beautifully carved pillars each carved differently from others, you may opt for lunch at one of the best hotel in ranakpur: maharani baugh you can watch out local families on the way to see their customs and living. Today morning after breakfast explore the pink city with an excursion to splendid amber fort, situated just outside the city, built in 15th century by rajput king man singh, later visit another mighty and majestic nagargarh fort, which is nearby to amber fort. Later drive back to the main city to visit imperial city palace, a miraculous places to witness the real rajasthani and mughal architecture. Present residence of the royal family of jaipur. 08 DAY: JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA (240 KMS: 5 HOURS)
After breakfast checkout and drive to agra, enroute stop over at fatehpur sikri, the old deserted town of the mughal kingdom, built in red sandstone in honour of saint salim chisti who blessed birth of 3 sons to emperor akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important structure here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the diwane e khas; punch mahal, the tomb of salim chisti, and the buland darwaza, one of the largest and tallest gateways in the world. 09 DAY: AGRA.
Early morning visit world's most popular and beautiful monument: taj mahal with its fabulous view at the time of sunrise. Taj mahal, beautiful architectural monument among the 7 wonders of the world; this historical masterpiece is illustration of the fusion of diverse architectural styles. Taj mahal is crown of all the loveliest buildings in the world, a symbol of eternal love. The tour continues to visit agra fort,was built in 1576 ad., by great mughal emperor akbar, structured and designed with red stoned barricaded; in the fort you will find most splendid pearl mosque and various other classic example of art: jahangir mahal, moti masjid, macchhi bhawan, nagina masjid, diwan-i-khas, sheesh mahal, diwan-e-am, meena bazaar and musamman bhurj where from emperor shahjahan, prisoner of his son rebellious aurangzeb, he put his father in the cell of agra fort, where from he could see his love reflecting through the taj mahal, where his loveliest wife was cremated. 10 DAY: AGRA - MATHURA - SIKANDRA - DELHI (210 KMS: 4 HOURS) - BANGALORE (BY AIR)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to delhi. Enroute you may opt to stop over at mathura- vrindavan, the birth place of lord krishna, to visit some of notable temples bankey bihari and iskcon. Later continue to drive to agra, on the way visit at sikandra, a marvelous mausoleum of mughal emperor akbar, spectacularly designed structure of hindu and muslim architecture, afterwards proceed to delhi. On arrival, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled evening flight for bangalore. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Mathura, is the nucleus of brajbhoomi. This is the place where lord krishna was born in a prison cellar. The city, today, is famous for its many temples dedicated to the lord. Located at katra, keshav deo, the temple is thronged by pilgrims from all over the world. The dwarkadesh temple, built by seth gokul das of gwalior in 1814, is situated in the heart of the city. It is adorned with some exquisite paintings depicting the entire life of krishna. The vishram ghat on the bank of yamuna is the place where krishna rested after killing kansa
Vrindavan, 15 kms from mathura, is famous for its numerous temples - both old and modern. It is believed to have been the stage of krishna's romantic trails. Vrindavan is home to about 4,000 temples- both big and small. The hindus for ritual bathing use the numerous bathing ghats here. Perched on a high cliff near the kalia mardan ghat is the madan mohan temple. Another temple of importance is that of radha ballabh built by sundar das in 1626. The govind dev temple stands among the most impressive temples of vrindavan. Among the modern places of worship, the colossal temple of pagal baba and the impressive iskcon temple are names worthy of mention.
11 DAY: BANGALORE
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of the city. Bangalore is one of the most attractive cities in india with its beautiful parks avenues and impressive buildings. It is also known as the silicon valley of india. Later take a sightseeing tour of the city visiting lal baugh - regarded as one of the most richly diverse botanical garden's in south asia; it derives its name from the profusion of red roses which are in bloom here, cubbon park - named after mark cubbon, bangalore's longest-serving commissioner, this beautifully laid out park spreads over 300 acres in the heart of the city. The bull temple - the 4.57 m high and 6.10 meters long image is carved out of single granite rock, tipu's palace - the summer palace of tipu sultan later followed by visit to sri gavi gangadhareshwara temple - the temple is dedicated to lord shiva and is carved out of a monolithic stone. Iskcon temple located on a seven-acre hillock, known as the 'hare krishna hill', the gorgeous deities of the lord sri radha krishna and the pure spiritual atmosphere make the pilgrimage a lasting memory. Bangalore is renowned as much for its industrial plants as for its silk saris, and for the sprawling cubbon park, which lies at the heart of the city, as also its prestigious race course.it is now part of the great silicone valley, is a beautiful city filled with the tranquillity of its greenery. 12 DAY: BANGALORE - SRIRANGAPATNAM - MYSORE (140 KMS: 4 HOURS)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to mysore. En route visit the srirangapatnam (20 kms from mysore) to visit fort and sri ranganathaswami temple. Later proceed to mysore. Then take a sightseeing tour visiting maharaja palace built in 1911-1912. The palace is harmonious syntheses of the hindu and saracenic style of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures, which are magnificent. In theevening visit to the brindavan gardens & spectacular musical fountains & government buildings, later drive up to chamundi hill to see chamundeshwari temple and a panoramic view of mysore. Srirangapatnam: located at about 15 kilometers from mysore, srirangapatnam is the biggest of the three islands in the river kaveri. The island, five kilometers long and two kilometers wide, derives its name from the deity of the temple located on its western side. The island has something for everyone. For those who are turned on by history, there are many monuments here spanning a thousand years. All the major dynasties of the south have left their relics and monuments here-the hoysalas of the 11th century, the vijayanagar kings of chandragiri in the 17th century, the hyder ali-tipu sultan clan that came after them, and finally the french & the british.
Mysore, the capital city of the wodeyars has always enchanted its admirers with its quaint charm, rich heritage, magnificent palaces, beautifully laid-out gardens, imposing buildings, broad shady avenues and sacred temples. Mysore races its history back to the mythical past, when goddess chamundeshwari of chamundi hills killed the wicked buffalo-headed demon, mahishasura. Mysore dasara is the celebration of this victory of good over evil. Mysore also has associations with the mahabharata and king ashoka of the 3rd century b.c. during the wodeyar rule mysore reached the zenith of its glory as a fabled centre of oriental splendor.
13 DAY: MYSORE - OOTY (165 KMS: 3-4 HOURS)
After breakfast check out the hotel and depart for ooty, on arrival check into the hotel. Ooty is fondly known as the 'queen of hill stations', ooty is snugly ensconced in the heart of the nilgiris. Dotted with undulating hills, sparkling waterfalls, gurgling brooks and lush green tea gardens, this tranquil haven is sure to capture the hearts of every visitor. Rest of the day is free for relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.
Ooty: known as the queen of hills and the most popular hill station in the south india. It is located in the nilgiri hills at 2286 meter above sea level. With its rolling lawns and salubrious climate it became the important hill station in south india and the summer capital of the former madras presidency. Ooty still has the touch of the raj about it, with its cottages and pretty gardens and stone churches that stands among the groves of pine. Old summer palaces of maharajas are now hotels and set in their beautiful parks.
14 DAY: OOTY - COONOOR - OOTY (1 HOUR DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to coonoor, optionally you may take a toy train ride; visit sim's park, there are also a number of individual tree specimens planted all over the place, give a special charm to the park, dolphin's nose, the nose is a unique rock of tremendous proportions which looks like a dolphin, lamb's rock commands a grand view of the coimbatore plains, laws falls a paradise for nature lovers. Later take a sightseeing tour of ooty enjoy the scenic surroundings, the botanical garden a wealth of variety of plants that include different types of roses, imported shrubs, rare flowering plants, eucalyptus trees, several old trees and even a fossilized tree trunk that is 20 million years old, followed by boat rides and fishing, a visit to the ooty lake is a must. Besides these, there are various viewpoints like lamb's rock, kodanadu and dodabetta peak is the highest point in the district at a height of 2623 meters. Coonoor, surrounded by the tea plantations, and at an altitude of 1850 m, coonoor is the first of the three nilgiri hill station-udhagamandalam (ooty ), kotagiri and coonoor - that you come to when leaving behind the southern plains. Like ooty, it's on the toy train line from mettupalayam. While kotagiri had the kotas, and ooty the todas, so coonoor was home to the coon hill tribe. ( the suffix, 'oor', means village. ) this now bustling town appears rather squashed between the hills and it's only after climbing up out of the busy market area with the bus and train terminals that you'll get a sense of what hill stations were originally all about.
15 DAY: OOTY - GURUVAYUR - COCHIN (280 KMS: 7 HOURS)
Today early morning, checkout from the hotel and drive to cochin. If time permits, enroute visit the guruvayur temple, dedicated to lord krishna, one of the most popular pilgrim centers of india, followed by visit to punnathur kotta, where 44 elephants belong to the guruvayur krishna temple are fenced and fed in the punnathur kotta. Later drive to cochin, the oasis state of kerala & on to the malabar coasts & kochi (formerly cochin), it is one of the india's most colourful cities. These inter, connected series of islands & shoreline presents a vivacious blend of cultures & religions. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening take a boat trip along the palm fringed lakes & backwaters of the area; we enjoy this extraordinary excursion today. 16 DAY: COCHIN - ALLEPPEY (60 KMS: 1½ HOURS)
After breakfast checkout the hotel and drive for Alleppey, on arrival embark at the houseboat. The day for the journey of backwaters in the boat, through the tropical countryside enchanting backwaters of alleppey by regattas (snake boats) for which kerala is very famous, while sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals are panoramic sights one can never forget. The chinese fishing nets, the reminiscent of our past trade links, are also found on the way. Alleppey situated in south of cochin, is the center for backwater cruises in kerala. It has a large network of canals, which passes through the town, provides its lifeline & has a long sandy beach. It is also the center of the famous coir products of kerala. Nehru trophy boat race - the most colourful snake-boat race in kerala - is held here on the second saturday of august every year.

17 DAY: ALLEPPEY-KUMARAKOM
After breakfast disembark from the houseboat. And drive to check in the backwater resort, kumarakom - for the nature-lover. Here in this backwater town, you can laze in a canoe amidst sylvan surroundings where the only presence is yours and the egrets. Later visit at kumarakom bird sanctuary, located on the banks of the vembanad lake, to see bird viewing where numerous species of birds, including darters, bitterns, brahminy kites, marsh harries, teals and several varieties of herons roost are found. For an inquisitive bird watcher, it is always advisable to carry their binoculars at all times. Return to hotel, make sure you do not miss out on karimeen and fresh toddy the favorite fresh water food and the local wine. Overnight stay at hotel.
The village of kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the vembanad lake, and this small water world is part of the kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the siberian stork that live there in flocks is a fascination for visitors. The best way to watch the birds of the kumarakom sanctuary is a boat trip round the islands.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to cochin. On arrival take a sightseeing tour of cochin: oasis state of kerala & on to the malabar coasts & kochi (formerly cochin), one of the india's most colourful cities. This inter, connected series of islands & shoreline presents a vivacious blend of cultures & religions; visit to fort cochin & st. Frances church to see the town of vasco da gama. We also see the jewish synagogue & the mattancherry "dutch" palace. Later transfer to the airport to board the flight for hometown. Tour concludes here with happy memories. |
