Fairy Queen, the vintage train of Rajasthan and the oldest running vintage steam locomotive in the world is the perfect choice for travelers who wish toexperience than just be a spectator of the heritage past of India. It was built in the year 1855 by the British firm Kitson, Thompson & Hewitson for the British firm East India Railways. A Guinness Book of World Records holder and winner of the National Tourism Award, the Fairy Queen has a 60-seater air-conditioned chair car specially designed with a large glass window from where you can have a frontal view of the Locomotive, besides there is a well maintained pantry car for on board catering. As an added attraction, the coach has a beautiful lounge in the front, which provides a scenic view of the countryside.
